What's a Hazard Cat?

Hazard cats are felines that have been partially mixed with robotics. They have tails made of metal that are severed in the middle, but connected with some form of energy. A glass screen rests on their chests. This screen shows the cat's health with heartbeats or a glowing circle, but there are many other options besides these. The color always matches the cat's eyes. Some cats' screens are full of static. Beware, these are dangerous as they are rare. A small grate can be seen on both sides of the cats' bodies. They breathe through these grates, so it's impossible for it not to be there. What comes out of the grate differs from cat to cat. The most common is steam, uncommon is sound, which is accompanied by mist, and the hardest to find have goo seeping out between the bars. They have three eyes, but the one in the center of their forehead is almost always taped down or covered with a band-aid. It is said that this third eye allows them to paralyze their targets. The pupils are most commonly hollow in the center, but can be regular or slit. Large ears and eyes allow them to see clearly in all levels of light, even in pitch blackness. Their hearing is very advanced and they can hear sounds even higher than dogs can. Their legs are very long, like those of maned wolves, bringing them up to speeds of fifty miles per hour.

-You may add items to your cat, but not line edits
-When in doubt, ask questions
-You may own 8 cats
-No minimodding
-Hazard Cats cannot be fursonas
-Remember they aren't Warrior Cats, please...
-Teens and Sparks can be grown one month after adoption

Artist rules

-You may make your own customs
-You aren't excluded from trying for cats
-Please use neon colors sparingly
-Eyes must match the heartbeat/glow on the screen
-All cats must have both screens and grates. No exceptions
-Make as many line edits as you want as long as you don't stray too far away from the original lines
-Don't make your own lines
-Designs such as 50, 100, etc. will be made by me
-Guest artists can make themselves two customs
-Full time artists are allowed 9 cats because of all the work they do
-You are not allowed to auction off designs
-You are allowed to make runner ups, but please number them. It keeps things cleaner.

More information

How big are they?
Adults are about the size of a maned wolf or about three feet tall.
The young are the size of house cats.

What colors can they be?
Although natural colors are more common, Hazard Cats can be
nearly any color other than solid neon.

What do they eat?
They are carnivorous, meaning they eat meat. Some may be omnivores,
eating fruits and such, but all cats must have some form of meat in their
diet to be healthy.

Why are they called 'Hazard Cats'?
These cats were found living around spills of toxic waste where they'd
changed to cyborg like animals because of the environment. Because of
this, they are immune to most poisons.

How long is their lifespan?
They live many years, the average being fifty or so. The oldest cat on record
lived to see seventy.

What are the young called?
Young cats are called 'sparks'.

Predators?
The biggest threat is humans. Other hunters include raccoons and big cats

What does the third eye do?
The most commonly seen power, but not limited to, is the ability to
paralyze. There are many powers in existence, but not many are known
because of the cats' habit of keeping it hidden.
