Wait... What is a Taiga?
In the dense crystal forests of Darea, a World of Snow and Ice, are usually found the usual animals; foxes, rabbits, deer and all the other Animals. However, in some sections of the forests, there is a creature that lives nowhere else in this World. Hike and storytellers call them Taiga, which translated means 'large'. They resemble a horse, at least at first glance. Not to mention that they project an adult with their size, they are very long too. The tail is as long as their body itself and at the end you will find cozy, long fur. The long and muscular legs are encased in soft fur, which encase the hooves and protect the sensitive skin underneath. They should not be ridden. One would think that because of their size and the powerful legs they should withstand heavy loads, but the back is not able to carry those. If you still would load things on it, you would damage the back and thus pave the creature pain.
A feature of the creature is a small, crystalline horn that has its place at the front of the forehead. It is said, that in the crystal, the memories of the ancestors are inherent. Whether this is the truth, is largely unknown. One has noticed, however, that, should the crystal shatter, it seems that the taiga remembers nothing anymore. But with every new experience it is gaining, the crystal grows as if it were a living part of the body. Especially, it was found that the creatures, who have lost their horn, behave like the young of their kind, because those are born without a horn and are very shy. The horn itself, which falls to the ground, is growing to a new tree of the crystal forest.
The horn and mane comes in different variations.
Main Rules
~Please do not steal this Species and dont clame them as your own.
~ You may use the Taigas in your RP's, in your Signature or whatever you would like to.
~ You may NOT sell your Taiga after you got one. If you do not want yours anymore, PM the Artist who created yours and it will be readopted.
~ Do not remove from the CS website.
~ Please place adoption forms on their respective Taiga's page. This main thread here is for breeding, news and questions only.
~ You may only have 5 Taiga at once.
~ Do not make "Fake Pets" of my Taiga's.
~ Do not ask for Items. They wont have them, and will never be. There is perhaps a chance that I will greate more horns or manes, but nothing else.
~Use common sense. Think before you post.
~Please be kind and show respect to the other users and artists on this thread. Any arguing will be reported as spam and either a warning or strike will be given depending on the situation.
Rules for the Form
~ The Form I like best will win.
~ You are allowed to add more to the form until the final date.
~ Do not argue or whine if you do not get the Taige you wanted. There will be more in the future.
~ Do not use pictures from Google in your form.
~ If there are any questions post them on the main thread for someone to answer.
~ The forms are just skeletons to build on. You are allowed to add any effects you believe will make it more appealing and while there are no limits on how much you can write, please keep the length within reason.
~ Enjoy, and if you do not win simply congratulate the ones who did and look forward to the next release. Do not make the winner feel bad because you're sore about losing.
~Remember that also all Rules from the Creativity Forum and Site rules apply.
Custom Orders

You onlyn eed to know a few things for your very custom made Taiga!
1. Read all the Rules.
2. Fill out the form completely. They are not asking much, but it will help with the design.
3. Customs are for people who want to see a very specific design incorporated into the Taiga. It's beyond frustrating to artists to have to pull ideas out of thin air. If you don't know what you want then how can I?
4. Keep the Designs natural. No Neon, No Tribal etc. ok? Look at Horse Pictures for Ideas, it will help a lot!
