If I may just post my opinion, ignore this if not I don't mean to start an argument or anything like that.

but, right now I don't think it such a matter of being 'fair' to every one because then all the people's tickets accepted as requests will be upset. I think the artist work better on the designs if they want to do them. I find doing art of things I don't want to do makes it become a chore rather than a fun little character breeding. All the tickets will be done and I think the artists have the right to pick what they do, maybe just until this list is cleared. More tickets were done being picked as requests than as the going down the list really.

Accepting to be an artist is choosing to accept the responsibility. Being an artist isn't supposed to be fun and games, unless you're just a hobbyist who isn't doing it for other people, just for themselves. In this case, being an artist is a JOB, and they have a responsibility.

Just try to see it from our point of view.

Maybe each of the artists picks an equal amount of requests they want to do, and then they are done in the order from the one that has been waiting the longest to the shortest wait time.

Why not make a list of the ones that MUST be done first and one for the newer ones that the artist can get requests from later?

Well right now I have a queue that MUST be filled/finished before artists can take a new ticket.

But I would really appreciate some of the artists to take some from the top now and start working on them as well.
