Hey everyone! I've got a couple quick things to say. First off, I hope your holidays are going well!

Secondly, I regret to inform you that the PMs for most gift orders that were to be sent by myself were a little late. :'( I ended up with more on my plate in one day than I anticipated, and our internet was disconnected. The only access I had was for a few moments on my mothers phone. But, they are sent, and I hope to get names for them soon!

Third, and this is a slightly bigger problem. It turns out that I ended up scraping the barrel with all of the unexpected complications of my life and sudden changes in plans (drivers ed, family, friends, etc), and I have yet to post some of the gifts... This, I think, is the part I feel most ashamed of for not getting everything done on time. There are a dozen gifts (something like that) that will be posted as soon as physically possible, with pms sent out the moment they are posted. For those who were kept waiting, you have my deepest apologies, and you know what? I think you guys deserve a front of the line pass each so next time you aren't the ones waiting!

I want to thank you all for understanding and being patient! This year I believe we will complete about forty gifts, and though that wasn't the goal, it's quite impressive! I want to give extra special thanks to Lake Petal and her outstanding premade work, which I believe is still UFA, and for helping me with ideas and keeping my cool this season

I hope you all had very happy holidays, and I hope that next year, we can see more time for my work and even better, a bigger shoppe! Keep your eyes peeled - We hope to reopen shortly after the last gifts are given!

DLH, you do so much work, and I am still amazed that you do these for free! You are a human, not a robot and life gets in the way a lot. Don't think that you have to worry about these things, since you work so hard on them it doesn't matter!

Hey, everyone. It's been a long, hard year for me. Far longer and harder than I ever expected it could be. I suppose I owe all of you, my faithful followers, an explanation.

As January swung in, let's say quite a lot of drama swept up my life. I lost a dear friend before school started, caused a heartbreak and broke my own heart, and then school. Oh, school. xp Let's just say advanced testing courses ate up all free time and energy I had. Then, as things settled around summer vacation, I lost my grandpa to heart failure, and got caught in the middle of high social anxiety and some intense therapy. So now the new school year has begun, the most heavy-lifting one yet.

As you can see, life is slowly degenerating my motivations, and has prevented me from any of my plans for this shoppe. But let me tell you that this has been the single greatest change to my life, and I have never felt such joy as I have here, making you guys your OCs!

As such, after so much thought and grueling decision making about my current stances...
We're going to be coming back!
That's right, DLH's QUOTE Characters is going to be reborn! We were among the first OC shoppes as you may recall, and we never charged a cent for the OCs of your wildest dreams. That will never change! However, improvements shall be made, regulations and a greater activity staff hired, and more services offered. We will make those forgotten dreams reality this time!

Your supports in this endeavor are all we need to revitalize the shoppe. I'm asking you to spread the word about it, and also help me find a new lineart you love for the next generation (if you like this one, just say so below)
