So, I recently developed a new style, and one I like a lot better than my old one, so I created a new DA. Of course, this being the case, I have very few examples to show people who want to commission me. This is a problem. SOOOO, I said to myself, "Hey, why not offer free art to people so you can build your portfolio." Now, I may not agree with myself too often, but this seemed like a pretty good idea. And so here we are. You want the free stuff and I got the free stuff. However, you gotta follow the rules. Failure to comply will result in a ban (no art for you) and possibly worse*, depending on the severity of the 'crime'.
*Guys, just be nice and follow the rules. Don't make me get the moderators involved.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
You may use the art if (and only if) you provide a clear link back to my DA to credit me.
I will not redraw ANYTHING. I rarely do these with my commissions, and I certainly won't for requests.
There will be no bickering or rude behavior on this forum AT ALL.
Only submit characters that belong to you (exception: the art is a gift for a friend, or other such instance).
NO GORE OR NUDITY. I will not draw it nor will I accept a reference with it (naked animal 'parts' excused unless anthro).
I will not accept characters without a reference/image where I can clearly see the design.
At the moment, I will only be taking anthro and feral designs. Canines and felines are more likely to be accepted.
Do not write more than (about) ten sentences on your form. I don't need a dissertation just a general idea.
PLEASE NOTE
The art belongs to me and I may use it in any way I see fit (will use in portfolio and for ads).
I will take these when I feel like it and when I have time. I prioritize time for commissions rather than requests.
Be Patient! I am not a machine, I will get to these when I get to them (ties into above notice).
I may not get to all of these and am not required to. I will take whichever ones I like but I'll try to do them all.
I will notify you when and if I accept your form. If you don't fill out the form you will be skipped.
I will not be providing examples, as this is to build up my portfolio (examples) for commissions.
I reserve the right to refuse any submissions for any reason. I won't accept a submission if it doesn't meet the requirements.
I won't accept a submission if I think/know I can't draw it. I don't want to butcher your character(s), please understand.
All finished pieces will be posted to Deviantart and you will be notified with a link via PM (or comment if PM is unavailable).
I will only accept one at a time, and will not accept another piece until I finish the last accepted piece.
