Auto-Delete the "From your Pet" messages

even if they just gave
users the option to
simply toggle the
messages on and off
[ without having to
go through the effort
of blocking like 3
different things or
phrases just to avoid
the messages coming
through would be such
an improvement . ]

the messages are so
guilt trippy , which
could honestly make
a lot of users ,
especially those who
are young / vulnerable
really upset , and
ultimately won’t trade
off the pet even though
it is well within their
rights .

I would like the option to turn it off. I know it's supposed to encourage people to only adopt pets they really want, but it doesn't. I think nearly all of CS that uses the pound would grab an OMGSR or store pet they saw before an OMGSC missed outsome, if they knew what they were looking at, because then they could trade it if they didn't want it and get that OMGSC missed outcome and so much more.

It just feels bad and had always frustrated me.

Unfortunately this has been asked since 2013 [Suggestion: An option to disable messages "from your pet" by Kida] with over 20 pages of supportive messages and nothing has been done about them. It's a very weird way of guilt tripping the userbase and I don't understand why staff seem so insistent on keeping it, especially since it seems to go against CoC of CS as quoted below:

These rules apply to [...], and private messages between users. [...]

Specifically, we do not allow:

• [...]
  
• Guilt-tripping or begging behavior in trades or for art, characters, positions in roleplays, or other similar perks or associations. You may not try to force or pressure someone into accepting your offer or giving you something, even if it’s not for free. You may not intentionally make someone feel bad about their choices or actions, such as how much they are selling something for.

i have a dm rule that auto deletes them! The rule is pretty easy to set up and is a good fix for something cs isnt likely to fix

Bruh, is the staff not following their own rules?-

I am not trying to sound mean, just kinda annoys me that they expect us to do this and that, but yet they also don't do it (ig specifically with this rule)
