(Accessibility) Plain text toggle for posts + trade rules

support! I don't have the best eyesight so it can be difficult to read certain colored texts, i've actually had to copy and paste text just so i could read it!

Support! I have definitely chosen to not trade with someone because their trade rules were too hard to read. Having an option like this would be amazing

absolute support! i have such bad vision and when i strain my eyes too much i literally cant do anything but lay in bed and listen to music/a podcast/an audiobook which isnt fun for my hyperactivity

i love to trade and i cant stand not being able to actually read (quite a lot) of trade rules

signatures are also hard to read a lot of the time, but i dont stress over that as much as trade rules

Huge support for this. Might I also suggest that the plain text toggle also hide images? On occasion I will encounter a person whose trade rules section is full of flashing gifs with very little text/information.

ive had a migraine all week but i quickly made a smaller version as well, as the original was made to fit my own sig ^^;
(ideally id like to make some even smaller ones, but my eyes aren't working enough for that right now </3)

the slight animation personally doesnt bother me, but if anyone needs a still version feel free to download the image and reupload it to a file storage site as a png 🫡

it'd be nice but frankly i'd rather people just be considerate and make their rules legible !! i just don't trade anyone who has rules that are ridiculously hard to read for the ✨ aesthetic ✨ bc it's wayyy more effort than its worth when i could just find someone who has well-formatted rules that don't strain my eyes

okay, but we can't just assume every 13yo kid pops up on the site with full knowledge of how to make everything they type accessible to everyone. like dgmw, it would be nice if they did, but I remember enough neon green on black text in my deviantart days to know that's not the case. wanting people to learn how to make their texts more accessible is a great cause! but it should not be a counter to needing a plaintext toggle, imo.
