Add a warning when trading December 18 pets

So this year, I've noticed a large volume of people scamming/ninja trading new users for their December 18 pets, my friend has personally had two in the space of an hour. And this has been an issue for years, where certain hostile older users will take advantage of newer users for their own gain.

I really think there needs to be more protection, so I have a suggestion.

When you try to trade with someone on the same wifi as you, you receive a warning reminding you that owning multiple accounts is against the rules, so be sure to trade fairly with people in your household. And it got me to thinking. What if, when you receive a trade for December 18 pets, attempting to accept will bring up a warning box. It could have a brief explanation about December 18 pets, and refer any users to threads such as the 'Is this a fair trade' thread, or 'what is this pet worth'.

Because at the end of the day, it is heartbreaking when I look through accounts that sent unfair trades to my friends, and see them with multiple very valuable pets, while the new accounts they received those pets from have nothing worth that pet. I really think more needs to be done to protect new players from scammers, because this has been an issue for longer than I've been on Chicken Smoothie. It isn't fair that scammers are still able to get away with receiving valuable pets from players who might not know any better.

For the sake of illustrating my idea, I've created a basic mockup based on the message you receive for trading on the same Wi-fi.



At the end of the day, I think more can be done to protect newer users, and I hope if nothing else, that this post can open dialogue about what could be added for better security regarding December 18. Users deserve better than to be scammed out of their pets.

MAJOR support. If CS won't hold scammers accountable, at least they can do is add resources.

It's heartbreaking to see full grown adults take advantage of kids and teenagers around Christmas time...

There's definitely a huge problem on the 18th with ninja trading, and even if these trades are reported, staff won't do anything because "well, they didn't SAY the pet was worth that much" . It's so ridiculous. Especially when the user who sent the trade is an older user, that clearly knows their values and is trying to take advantage of new players. It's obvious cheating, imo.

Support...my first Dec 18th I got the July pps/GWJ traded for almost nothing, being really new and not realizing its worth until too late. So frustrating that it happens

Especially if a ninja trader has post history helping on the FTT or giving advice to users. It's obvious evidence that they DO know, but want to scam newbies. That's easy to moderate/do investigations. The evidence of knowing the pet's value is right there for all to see
