A suggestion to make CS a bit more interactive

Just been thinking a bit the past few days on how to add more to CS without turning it into a completely different game. I only have one suggestion for right now but I think it’s an alright one.

Some kind of monthly/bi-monthly poll that lets users influence a pet/item release. ie voting on what lines store pets will be made on(out of a list of like 4 species), voting what obscure holiday(like ‘talk like a pirate day’) in a certain month gets a pet/item release, maybe even a vote on 2nd gen couples. It’s something that I think could help users feel more involved while still giving the artists enough freedom to be creative. I don’t know how far in advance artists make designs so that might be a speed bump, but I think even just an occasional poll on something relatively small will make CS just feel more like user opinions matter in some way.

"Vague" Suggestion, Thread/Sugg Title feels a bit like "Click-Bait", could be a bit more Descriptive...

Want Users to vote, then OK, why don't you put a Poll in your Sugg also...?

Not much happens with all Suggs in this 'Site Suggestions' Sub-Forum, the Artists "sometimes" pick up a Sugg from the "Pet Design" and "2nd/3rd Gen" Threads, you/we would need some "pre-curating Selection" to fulfill your Sugg, with Users voting (for some limited time), and then "one" Artist would be "assigned" to "make the Pets/Litter", with "everybody on the Site" expecting exactly those Pets... [I wouldn't like to be that Artist, to be honest...]

=> Result: 80% of everybody disappointed because of the "High Expectations"...

Let the Artists "sometimes" pick up an Idea and surprise us nicely...!

... "No Support", at least for "monthly/bi-monthly", could be an Idea though as a "yearly" Event (like the 'Staff Dogs' or 'GH Cats')...

I agree for a yearly event idea as well, imagine users pick a cool new event that becomes a permanent addition to the site! Sounds fun.

{support, I love this concept! To add a suggestion: maybe the choices could be selected from the existing pet & item suggestion threads? So we can not only participate in choosing new things but have our own suggestions used. Gives artists plenty of room for their own creative ideas too c: I see lots of the thread suggestions including small events and such so it would work for all the above!}
