hi all, i've got a thought. I was looking through the archive to see a pet that i consider a dreamie,
and noticed that it was a 2nd gen back from January of '09. this led to me to wonder what said pet
was crossed with to get its litter. now, i could sift through the archive and find what could
potentially be the parents of these litters, or there could be some sort of option on the archive to
see what the parents are?
obviously, doing too much would require probably a complete archive overhaul which is probably
not a good thing, and adding too many links or whatever could overload the server, in some of the
ways the denied suggestions could. what I'm thinking is maybe adding pictures to the "newborn"
part of the archive that shows what that month's 2nd/3rd gen pets are?
I'm talking about adding these pictures to the archive:
maybe with or without the "adopt our litter/hatchlings"/whatever. i would just like to see what pets
caused the outcomes.
to me, the probably biggest issue to my suggestion is the fact that staff probably doesn't have every
single one of those jpgs since the start of the site, but i think if I'm thinking of this, then i can't be
the only one who has ever thought of this.
anyway, let me know what anyone thinks, if you come across this. i know it's way too late for me to
be thinking about this right now, so if I'm out of my mind, that's a good thought to have too :)
