I can't say I'm incredibly well versed in this issue or knowledgeable enough to make a case about it, but as I've spent an awful lot of times in oekaki forms (especially with equine art) I've been seeing an awful lot of what would be at best cultural appropriation and at worst racist. Frankly, it just makes me uncomfortable and I know there are others who feel the same on this issue (and likely more white folks that would argue against it). I'm not sure if it would even be enforceable realistically, but I do think a discussion is needed in regards to users being allowed to post images of horses in 'war paint' or other appropriated themes. To create indigenous art with knowledge of it's meaning is one thing. To do it because it's 'cool' or 'interesting' to a white person is another..
