react-y thing for posts

For info, I voted "No", I honestly don't understand the Thread Title: "react-y thing for posts", and I can't read the Body of the OP in the Thread, Lettersize=85 or smaller, unreadable on Desktop... (Too small...)

Tried to google on "react-y", => maybe "React: Y/N", but not sure I found the correct "Explanation"..., and even then, I still don't really understand "React: Y/N on [Forum?] Posts", I always know/remember if I've already posted/reacted in a Thread..., still doesn't really make sense to me...

=> @OP, maybe give a more Descriptive/Explanatory Title to your Thread/Sugg...

support! pokefarm q's forums have a single "thumbs up" feature for individual posts, and I use it often to express my support/agreeance without having to add an otherwise unnecessary post!! i could imagine that it'd be a great addition for official rule/staff update posts, site suggestions, and monthly/event discussion threads. (sorry for continuing a necro lol)

Ah..., OK, starting to understand, => Thanks @rexx, => then yep, I like the Idea, a bit like for Videos on 'Youtube' then, with 'Thumbs-up' + 'Thumbs-down', with both Counters visible..., I don't like otherwise Forums where you can only upvote (or abstain)...

Would also be handy for this current Sub-Forum about "Suggestions" when Thread Starters don't add a Poll to their Thread..., + to "quickly" scroll to "important" Posts in the Thread/Discussion...

I disagree with the thumbs down option, if it is misused (i.e. not for voting purposes) it could lead to users feeling discouraged from posting and no one should feel like they can't share an opinion on CS.

Could only read your Reply from the Quote, the ']Lettersize=90[' is really tiny-tiny on Desktop...

But, hum..., yep indeed, I have a bit some "mixed Feelings" about "such a System" after thinking a little bit further, even with only a 'Thumb-up' or a 'Like', as this would transform the Forum into some kind of "Social Media" Platform (or way to communicate/post on the Forum), and I'm not sure I would like that indeed..., and from other Forums and Social Media Sites that I know/use, I notice Users tend to "quickly" jump to Posts with already a few '+1'/'-1' and to vote in the same "Direction"...

=> The current System we have with Polls (in Suggs), or simply posting/quoting with "Yes I support" / "No I don't support" / "Yes/No, I (don't) agree" / "I like the Design/the new Pets/the Outcome(s) from this Litter/etc" / "Those are absolutely adorable/cute/etc" / "So far those are my favorites", is probably "healthier" and friendlier than a '+1'/'-1'/'Like' System for Posts...

=> I keep my "No" for Voting in the Poll..., I don't really support this Sugg...
I wouldn't start a "Petition" if that Functionality was already implemented, but I'm not "craving" to see it implemented, ah-ah...!

(And "Thumb-Up for Posts" would be a "better" Thread Title, I would think, I still don't really understand this "react-y thing", but OK, never mind...)

I don't know how I feel about react for posts, but I've seen it on pokefarm and it doesn't seem to really have an effect on whether people comment on it or anything, and it's pretty out of the way
