Change the POUND system

Also not to be rude to anyone, but notice how mostly older players are saying not to change it, and newbies are saying to change it. Definitely speaks volumes! Newbies aren't getting the help they need from the Pound, and it shows.

I understand the frustration, but, would you prefer to adopt a random pet and get lets say a pet you absolutely hate (or you have a phobia of? Like spiders for example. Some are deathly afraid of them, even in a pixelated form).
Also, even though I've been here for 5 years, I've gotten my fair share of rares/very rares from the pound. You learn as you go along whats rare and whats not, newbies usually don't know whats rare/very rare, or at least I didn't and so I missed tons of rares/very rares and I still do. The pound's competitive really.

I agree with a live countdown! CS has the ability to do live countdowns, it would help so much.

I do feel unauthorized pound scripts should be banned, since it's giving an unfair advantage when it comes to the pound. It should be the person themselves getting the pet, and it seems like they're cheating the system. I get they're helpful but it's very unfair gamewise and to others. Maybe cs could block them/render them unusable like they did with pet counting scripts?

I support this. I like either idea, and I think a randomized pet would be a bit more fun to grab, personally. Ive always disliked the idea that I have to be on the milisecond it opens to grab something decent.

I think the pound is fine the way it is. What you're suggesting would be similar to 18Th December.
That day is quite stressful. It also causing a lot of cheating.
I think people would cheat more.
Also people log on a lot more to check the pound several times a day.With the current system it also shows what pets are on your wl if they show up. If it is random it is WAY less likely to get a pet you want.

exactly! thank you. it took me a long time to be able to get a rare, but once i did, it was a satisfying feeling. newbies don't really know the rarities of pets, they wouldn't recognize a rare as fast as an older user so of course it'll be harder for them. that's a given. a randomized pet would be annoying, i like at least picking out something i like the design of even if it's not rare.

I agree the pound needs to change. I've been a player since, like, 2013. and I have NEVER, NOT ONE TIME gotten anything valueable. ((because it's always taken when I try to get it!!) EVER. and I hate it. I'm not good at trading, I've never had an OMGSR, and then here are 1000 people that already have plenty of them and they take them to be greedy- to trade, or to auction. I hate it. can't stand it.
I don't think the pound needs to give a random pet, but yes. it needs to change. this is ridiculous.

yes! I've never gotten anything good from the pound. Maybe an uncommon. but so many people have like 20 OMGSR and I had one once. but I had to trade like 95% of my collection to get it. They are so hard to get.

but the pound is not just for giving valuable pets. that's the 18th's job. we should be grateful for the chance to get free pets at all. it's frustrating to miss valuable pets but the pound's job is not for giving out pets of high value. it shouldn't be treated like it is.

The pound is perfect the way it always has been.

I do not snatch the very first pet,
on the very first page...
In fact, I tried that once & got a random uncommon after noticing a WL store pet further down.
I have also managed to get a WL Rare on my second or third page at times.

The only issue I have is lag...
which basically means if your internet provider has fewer towers than someone else, they get the pet you wanted first.

The pound IS random. It is perfect. It should not change,
& I feel that we should all be quite happy that the pound exists for our enjoyment.
