Really, it's not that difficult to find some people willing to help locate the parents in the archive if you're having trouble. I can see its uses, but there would be flaws also.

See with this suggestion I was more imagining just using the parent duo image they would use on the 2nd gen adopt page, not like actually list the parent pets in the archive along side the babies. So like for this month you would show this image in the archives
And then the 2nd gems or 3rd gems below
