i love this! a parent could also be monitoring a child's account and turning of comments on their posts and stuff, sort of like an upgrade from coppa that allows more freedom. not sure if that makes sense though haha

i support this so long as individual users don't get too much power, ya know? just keep it to disallowing posting on your threads. i think this would be particularly useful in the trade/free adoptions forums so people don't unnecessarily bump topics too much as well as in the coding/art shop forums so people an actually close their shops when their slots are full. i've had problems with that and it always leads to my shop closing down for good because i get overwhelmed. also good for the oekaki for those who just want to post their art and not worry about other people commenting on it.

I support this! On Youtube, you can disable comments. On FA and DA, you can also disable comments. Why not here?
