Just updating my wording, title, and such since its been... 5 1/2 years (omg x.x I feel old) since I originally made this thread.
The original text will be quoted at the end!
So I am sure many of you are avid traders with thousands of pets, don't you hate it when you go to trade and see
"Pets on your partner's wishlist (2753)"
only for 2745 of them to be collection pets (or even hoard pets) you have no interest in trading?
Not to mention digging through those dozens of pages just to be sure you dont have anything to trade squished imbetween all those groups.
What I am suggesting is an additional option for pet group trade settings that would be worded something like
"Hide these pets comepletely when trading."
That would completely remove them from the 'add pets' window, much like how any groups your partner has locked just do not appear when you select their pets to trade from them.
The only way to add them (yourself only) would be to turn off the setting or directly grab the pets ID.
This would not change anything about the existing settings, it would just be an additional one for avid collectors/traders.
One thing brought up was how your open groups appear first, but personally I have a handful of locked groups I still trade from but are locked to prevent trade spam when I'm not actively taking offers.
Support appreciated! I'm trying to get into collecting again after a 2 year absence and this still inconveniences me. More so as I gain more and more collection pets.

I know the titles probably confusing, but what I mean is add an option to completely block a group even when YOU are the one offer a trade.
I have quite a few groups that I know I don't want to trade, and even with them blocked for people offering to me, they still show up when I offer. I think it'd be handy to have an option so that they don't appear even when you are offering. Turn off trading for those groups entirely. So even you can't trade those pets away (unless you submit their ID into the ID space or unlock the group)
Does that make sense?
This would not replace one of the current options, it would simply be an additional one
This would mainly be useful for serious collectors or hoarders, so we don't have to sort through lots of pages of 'pets on their wishlist' to find out if we have anything we want to trade.
Yes, the padlock may be enough for some, but I've heard of people who have accidentally traded locked pets.
And it would cut down on it appearing you have hundreds or thousands of pets on their wishlist, when most of them are in collections you dont want to trade
'You're open groups always appear first'
I, personally have a few locked groups that I will trade from
