I personally love seeing how long it took me to finish a piece, especially when it comes to massive adopt batches. It helps me price my art a bit better since I usually base my pay by the hour. However, my husband hates the timer and I can see his reasoning for disliking it, being embarrassed by the high timer count for the same things. So I highly support being able to have the option to turn off the timer in oekaki settings, either in our actually account settings, or right before posting an oekaki. Preferably the first option, since I know many people would likely forget to turn it off unless it's a pop up option every time (like when you save and it gives you the option to post, keep drawing, or quit to save for later).
