SUGGESTION: Featured Topics (+Featured Oekakies)

Perhaps there could be a section on the homepage where Topics can be featured, the same way Oekakies are featured?

And how would be decided which topic would get featured? What would be the general criteria that a topic has to meet that it would get featured?

The featured Oekaki system is anyway really flawed in my opinion. They should get rid of it.

There are far too many forums - not to mention topics - to be able to feature them. What would they feature? Art contests? Role plays? Trading threads?
The idea is nice, but I think this would get kind of spammy and annoying. It would also encourage spam, for hopefuls of getting featured, and it would just cause unnecessary cleanup and problems.
