[i've seen many people having troubles with this, and have even had an issue with it myself, so i thought i'd bring this up.]
when an oekaki is deleted [or moved to an inaccessible forum], the artist has no way of retrieving it, and i know that most of us don't save everything we draw after we post it. i understand that some drawings are deleted because they are breaking the rules, but what about those infamous invisible rules? or even having a drawing deleted for an unknown reason? naturally, the artist should be able to at least have a warning before their art is deleted so that they have a chance to save it/post it somewhere else, or be PMed a saved copy of it so that they didn't spend all that time wasted on a drawing they might be proud of, never to see it again. i especially think this should be required if it was deleted for breaking a 'rule' they had no knowledge of.
in short, i personally think it should be required [in every case] that the moderator deleting [and not just locking] the oekaki [any oekaki] should be required to either give the artist a chance to save it, or PM them a saved copy.
