Suggestion: Extending the event token turn-in for Halloween

I'm not talking about extending the actual event (including finding candy) - Tess and Nick were already more than thoughtful to extend that for us hurricane Sandy victims. I wanted to suggest extending the amount of time we have/had to turn in our candies, though, even though we were told on the 11th that we would only have 3 days. From what I remember, we had over a week (two weeks?) to turn in the candies from the summer event this year, so could we extend the Halloween item turn-in time even by a couple of days?

My best friend lives in lower Manhattan (NY) and she just got her power back a couple days ago. She still doesn't have internet, but I really wanted to give her a few candies so she could at least get something from the event since she hasn't been on since days before the Halloween event even started.

What do you all think? (Specifically Tess and Nick, though! )

I don't support, sorry. ^^; Nick and/or Tess just took down the banner, it would a bit of a bother to put it up again.

And we already had some time to trade in candy before it was extended for the week, so I think everyone has had plenty of time to trade in their tokens. :3

The event got already extended so much that people started to complaining about it that it just does not end. So no support. Your friend has just to try to trade for the pets.

I would like another extension, though for a complete other reason.
I couldn't get enough pumpkin tokens to use the other tokens I have on anything, since all ask for at least 1 pumpkin token to have (save the bat plushs). Of course I offered pets on several trades to get tokens, but these went ignored till yesterday, right when they got worthless. So not only I have tokens now I can't use I also lost pets.
I feel robbed here. -.-

Every year there are people who miss out on trading in their tokens for one reason or another; we can't keep extending the end date for everybody who has missed out. Two weeks to trade in tokens (as well as the time during the hunt) is a reasonable amount of time for most people.

I just want to thank you all for your input here. Ah well, there is always next year, and you're all right - pets and items from the event can be traded for.
