If you had read -Firestar-'s links, you'd have seen this post by Tuike;

It has been suggested before but turned down, sorry.
It would cause pestering of members who have the wanted pets (but aren't trading them), and if I've understood correctly, it would be awfully great strain on the server. ^^;
