Apologies for reviving such an old post — i was about to suggest the exact same thing and found this when searching before making a thread.
I definitely support - especially in the Species category. Forgive my rant, but it's extremely frustrating when i go through the trouble of getting a certain item and it doesn't fit the specific species i was going to dress up.
And i know that the CS artists are under no obligation of making every single item they make fit every single species, so this would just make things a lot easier.
In short, yes, please!!!
