CS Stamp suggestions/requests (please put ALL ideas here)

I would like many LGBT+ stamps, maybe a few more favourite animal stamps? Like a lion, wolf, bear, etc, stuff like that. Maybe some more instruments? Like Ukulele, or the Recorder? Also one for cooking? Just some ideas.

I remember reading a statement from Rainbow Dash on their tumblr about why they didn't want to make official LGBTQ+ stamps for CS, despite having been the one to make a set that was very popular in people's signatures a while ago.
IIRC it came mostly down to worries that people would start drama about some orientations and identities not being included, or not having the wording they'd prefer (in a community that is currently experiencing rapid changes in what's seen as appropriate vocabulary), and other possibly hateful reactions.

I think the biggest issue here is not that it would be seen as "too political" for a site like CS, but simply that it is very difficult to satisfy everyone. Even with something as seemingly simple as "I support LGBTQ+ rights" you'd possibly run into trouble because is it LGBT? LGBTQ? LGBTQIA? MOGAI? I've seen so many arguments from all sides about which is the correct or best name for the community, many of them contradicting each other and often based on personal preferences. Which is simple when you're just putting it in your own signature or profile, but less easy when you're trying to design a stamp for the whole site to use.

The current "I support human rights and equality" stamp was probably the closest they got, because it's vague enough not to upset people within the groups it's directed at. And I don't mean that in a negative way - because it is perfectly valid for people to not want to use specific labels and terms, or have them be used towards them.

Personally I do love the idea of at least having a sticker type stamp with the rainbow flag item, though (you could even slap text like "support" or "pride" on it or something).

Oh yeah, that makes sense; terminology is always a big issue... Also reminds me of different interpretations of "people-first" language ("autistic person" vs "person with autism") and how there's no consensus for what that means in English, much less across different languages -flops onto floor-

I took a class called Language and Gender just last semester... I should've remembered that terminology is a huge deal because of how it categorizes people and lumps people together (which is exactly what the + is doing in the various names of the community) -sweatdrops and crawls into corner- oops

We should make stamps that have some of the sitting cats in one image

(Ex. Using the cats commonly known as Jayfeather, HollyLeaf, and Lionblaze all on one stamp.)

Or we can have Christmas stamps for every year we are on CS for Christmas
(Ex.Christmas 2017 and a Christmas animal on it)

We should also get stamps when we hit mile stones on the forums .

(Ex. 10,50,100,500,1,000 post stamps)

Can we please have some profession stamps? Ie "I work in IT/a restaurant/as a teacher" etc or "I'm studying to be/want to be a doctor/lawyer/teacher/etc."

Having a few for students specifically would be nice too! Especially a status one that says "Status: Studying for Exams! Replies will be slow" or something like that. In addition, I've found a lot of solace online from fellow students in college, so a "studying hard!" or "Living the uni/college life!" one would be kinda cool.

Something like "Living the la vida broka" with textbooks and coffee might also be funny.

"I'm on color guard!", "I'm on winter guard!", "Chick/dude with flags", "I'm in guard!"... (Also marching band is a sport...we work just as hard as any other sports team)

I agree with these Ideas, so that people don't have to create badges and take up their signature space, and so it's easier to express their sexualities on Cs and not get bullied over it. And I also like the idea of not favourite pets because at the moment you only have house pets where some people like expressive animals like dragons and monsters.

i'd really like it if you guys added in like an astronomy / star constellation stamp. :>
i looked around the stamp collection and didn't see none. forgive me if there is some
astronomy stamps! but, i'd really like a stamp that says "astronomy fan," or "astronomy
rocks," along with a little star constellation [ pic examples ; x x ] in the left, right, or in the
middle of it.
