Support. I’m surprised there isn’t 2 factor as it’s pretty standard for websites to have. If cs were to ever have a bad breach,there are many programs people use to get passwords nearly instantly. I’ve seen it happen to many websites and the only real solution is having 2 factor.

On animal jam as an example ,you pretty much HAVE to use 2factor or your account is pretty much up for grabs. This is due to the game having multiple breaches.if the same were to happen to cs as it currently is,nothing would protect accounts from being exploited and while the bots would probably catch on to strange activity ,all it would lead to is bans which is necessary at times,but all of the victims of the exploit would have to unfairly start from scratch due to accounts not being “unbannable”(can’t think of another word).

2factor would prevent this kind of scenario and many others.

There doesn't even have to be a breach. There are absolutely ways for people to already access CS accounts that have poorly made passwords. A lot of hacked accounts on AJ nowadays aren't even a result of the breach, it's other ways that take advantage of the same password weaknesses (considering 2fa isn't on by default). CS is already worryingly vulnerable, it just doesn't have the same foundation for a community of people hacking and selling accounts like AJ has.

I've already supported, but I just wanted to add in case it wasn't said yet:
The fact that we can have a currency that can be bought with IRL money but there's no safety things in place to protect that currency is a bit frightening.
I know that no payment information is connected to peoples' accounts, nor is any super personal information...but there's still an e-mail & password, which could be reused on other sites that do have that information.

SUPPORT ! this would make so many people feel so much safer on this site. I think honestly this is the only site ive been on that doesnt have 2fa, which is a shocker since its been around a while, woulda thought it would by now.
