Following the map on the back of the invitation, you wonder what could be more thrilling than uncovering new mysteries.

The map leads you to a dilapidated house, crumbling and neglected. It appears untouched by another soul for centuries.

You double-check the invitation, suspecting a mistake in the address.

But no, this is indeed the correct location.

Yet, you fortify your resolve, thinking that whatever resides here wouldn't have extended an invitation if it harboured ill will.

Thus, you turned and left, never stepping inside, forever unaware of the secrets that the house concealed within its walls.

You approach the front door, ready to knock and announce your arrival.

Wait-

Before you can even lift a paw, the door creaks open slowly by itself.

The way forward is now clear.

You leave immediately.

As you step into the house, you immediately notice the stark contrast between the interior and exterior.

The inside of the house is immaculately clean, without a single speck of dust to be seen.

As you move further, numerous questions flood your mind...

Pondering the types of monsters that might be hiding in this house.

Could there be ghosts? Perhaps something that intended to devour you? Or maybe it was another Goobie?

In contrast to the house's exterior, the interior was significantly cleaner, fresher, and better maintained.

It's puzzling to consider who would abandon their home in such a condition, as no likely candidates come to mind.
