Among the numerous doors in this building, one captures your attention above all others.

It is pitch black, a darkness more profound than the eternal night.

The door's material, whatever type of wood it may be, features a grain that contrasts starkly with red streaks against the black of the wood.

A plain plaque affixed to the door bears the inscription "Laboratory: Do Not Enter."

You ignore the door's warning, even as you sense an immediate gaze upon you.

You grasp the handle, turning it... The door swings open...

Darkness envelops the room. You can't see anything.

Frantically, you pat the wall with your paw, searching for the light switch.

After several tries, your paw finally strikes it, and the room is suddenly flooded with intense artificial light, momentarily blinding you.

Having second thoughts, you exit the lab and shut the door.

Turning to depart, you unexpectedly collide with another goobie.

You pause, a shiver running down your spine. The sensation of being watched is unrelenting.

Still, you persist

Now that the room is visible, you choose to look at...

Approaching a shelf on the distant side of the lab, you observe an assortment of jars and vials brimming with colourful liquids.

It's only when you notice movement within one of the jars that realization dawns upon you.

These are not mere fluids; they are goo.

Some exhibit sentience, struggling fervently to escape their glass prisons. Others are unremarkable, and a few lack any luster.

You shudder.

Before you can try to look at anything else, you feel something penetrate your goo from behind.

You turn but your vision fades before you can see what happened.


"You'll do nicely for my collection..."

You approach the work table with curiosity.

It appears to be covered in a thick red goo that continuously drips onto the floor, forming small puddles.

Fortunately, it's just some goobie's lost goo, possibly belonging to the goobie who invited you here.
