You decide to look at something else.

You look at...

[The welcome mat]
[The paintings on the wall]
[The hallway]
[nothing]

After turning away from the door, you collide with another goobie.

You turn to face him.

You notice him gazing down at you, his numerous eyes not normal. Red goo oozes from his eyes as he stares.

His halo, circular and luminous, casts additional light around you both.

He remain silent, anticipating your response.

You...

[scream]
[run in fear]
[Say hi]
[do nothing]

You release a loud scream, but the goobie in front of you seems mostly unfazed by the noise.

After you finish, he blinks at you, his head tilted.

"You are strange..." he says.

["Look who's talking"]
["Who are you?"]

[annaebell]

You snort at the goobie and exclaim, "Well, look who's talking!"

This makes the goobie burst into soft laughter.

["Who are you?"]

[annaebell]

You don't like the look of this goobie at all.

At the first opportunity for escape, you seize it, sprinting away as swiftly as your legs will allow.

The sound of heavy footsteps chasing you makes you cast a fearful glance over your shoulder...
