While on the topic of disabilities/differing abilities...

Remember, it's not a disability. It's as much of an ability like any other. Individuals have different abilities, but that doesn't make them weaker. It just makes them have different strong suits. There is nothing that will ever make someone with a differing ability worth less than someone without. You are strong in your own way, and you can achieve your goals if you just put your mind to it!

❤❤❤ Fuchsia had a hard time growing up. She believed

that her paralysis defined who she was. She felt hopeless. One day, her sadness turned into something better. She had seen another Chicoon that had been using a wheelchair who was a professional athlete! Suddenly, she felt inspired. She decided that in order to live with her paralysis, she needed a goal that allowed her to accept that it was a part of her. She decided that she wanted to win a race. With her head held high, she did some research the following night on yoga poses and other activities you can do, even with paralysis. Overfilled with joy, she immediately did yoga each morning, eventually growing stronger each day. One day, she was done practicing. Now, it was the real deal. After years of practicing walking and moving on wheels, she finally had done it. She was ready for the race. Looking around, she was sad, she thought no one at all was like her or that she wouldn't get a place better than last, until a Chicoon walked in with three legs. Fuchsia wasn't alone! They had wheels too! Even though she didn't win 1st place, all of her hard work taught her that it's not a disability. It's a challenge that makes you stronger ❤❤❤

Spark had a strong taste for adventure as he was growing up. He loved to climb trees, swim in lakes, roll in mud, and catch
bugs. Life was perfect, and fun. Sure, he had a few dangerous things happen to him here and there, but that just made the
adventure more fun! That was, until he fell from a very high tree onto his head. He had to stay inside for a very long time to
heal. When he got outside again, he wasn't himself. He had constant headaches and migraines, and sometimes he seemed
very confused. His memories were fuzzy, and it wasn't fun. He also had a hard time walking, so he needed to use a crutch.
When he curled up and slept on the playground instead of playing with the other whelps at school, he was called lazy. He
didn't like it, but he didn't let it bother him. He had his hard times, when he just couldn't handle the other whelps and the
headaches, but he is still healing. He has allowed himself to get comfortable around others, and he has allowed himself to
tell his new friends about his head injury and leg injury, and they have accepted him for it. He doesn't care what other
Chicoons think, now. He is proud of who he is, and will often make art of Chicoons with gifts like his that make them unique.
