I am entering for the Lughnasadh Sun Cat!
Username: spasticjazzhands
Cat Name: Gildedwish
Clan: TwistedClan
Write a short scene of this tom having fun: Gildedwish pointed his head towards the stars, tail also following suit. It was his favorite time: dusk. Not a lot of TwistedClan cats shared his excitement for sunrises, but every now and then a cat or two would join him to watch the sunrise. Usually it was a dawn patrol that had to be up, but Gildedwish didn't mind the reason they were there; he just liked the company. This morning, however, it was only him watching the sky slowly lighten. Speaking of which...no one was around to care if he climbed the Ceremony Tree to peek through the forest better. Thanking the low easy branches to climb (he still wasn't used to all this tree business), he was halfway up the Ceremony Tree with a relatively unobstructive view of the sky. Now the stars were dimming one by one as the sky painted itself with colors of purple, orange, red, and blue. Keeping one paw steadily on the tree trunk with his claws dug in, he stretched his other towards the heavens. The sun followed his paw and Gildedwish liked to imagine that he was the one responsible for the sun rising. Now the sun was shining bright and the sky was a clear cyan blue. Gildedwish carefully made his way to the ground, already excited for the next sunrise.

I am entering for the Lughnasadh Storm Cat!
Username: spasticjazzhands
Cat Name: Hurricanebringer
Clan: TwistedClan
Write a short scene of this molly meeting a stranger:
Hurricanebringer pulled herself up to her full height. She was taller than average with a set of broad shoulders to match. Rather intimidating for cats that didn’t know how caring she was. However, she had scented cats nearby and lots of them, even through the pouring rain. She was on guard tonight.
She scented a cat approaching before hearing paw steps splashing in puddles. “Who is here?” Her voice gave away her true attitude, there wasn’t a hint of malice to be heard.
A gray and white laperm came into view, curly hair completely waterlogged. “Volépaw,” the time introduced himself.
“And what brings you out in a storm like this?” Hurricanebringer presses.
“I could ask you the same thing,” the Tom shrugged, “but I’m just looking for kitting herbs. One of our queens is in labor.”
“Oh, there’s a group with you?” This confirmed her suspicions.
“A Clan,” Volépaw explained, “A nice dry clan. We’d offer you a nest, at least until the storm passes, longer if you wanted.”
The cold and wind never bothered Hurricanebringer much with her thick coat and persistent attitude, but a warm bed did sound nice for the night. “Alright,” she agreed. “At least for tonight.”
“I’ll take you back,” he promises, “if you can help bring some raspberry leaves with.”
“Deal.”
