Not sure if I'm gonna have time to reroll this before the June 28th deadline, so I'll just add what I'd do here!
-> if first magic is basic, use max 10 rolls to try for a limited/legendary magic (stop when one is rolled). If it goes to the 10th roll and it's still basic, please use 3 max more rolls to try for a rare magic.
---> if first magic is rare, same thing but goal is legendary, 3 extra rolls are for limited magic!
---> if first magic is limited, all 13 rolls can be used to try for legendary magic!
-> afterwards all rolls into more traits!
