Welp I was apparently legally obligated to do this >.>

They aren't in order of importance or anything, it was hard picking just 5 things as well because I may or may not be a hoarder.. ^^;

1. Ah it was so hard picking just one of my soft toys because I have so many, I name them all and can remember how/when I got each one. This one is called Lucky, it's a leopard-like plushie made by Cheeky Chums (which doesn't seem to exist anymore). I got him for Easter years ago, he's got to be coming up 20 years old now. My dad made me play a game of hot and cold to find him, I put a collar on him from another of my teddies. The collar doesn't match him at all but he's been wearing it for so many years now.. he's been stitched together time and time again, he still currently has stuffing coming out of his back he needs stitching again.

2. It's probably obvious what this is, it's a dreamcatcher that was made for me. It was made by dads girlfriend years ago, they didn't go out for long but the dreamcatcher has become really important to me. I suffered from chronic bad dreams as a kid (night terrors, waking up screaming, the same dream over and over again), after I got the dream catcher I had each dream one more time, then never again. It's so weird because I didn't even believe in things like that, but since it worked I've kept it ever since, it looks so faded in colour now

3. Number 3 is my headphones.. it feels really weird saying they're important but they're a life line for me. I have severe noise anxiety (misophonia) as part of my autism. All my senses are hyper sensitive but noise is something else, it's really severe. I've seen an otolaryngologist (ear doctor basically), councillors, therapists, doctors and others. I've got noise generators to help me manage it but the only real thing that helps is for me to play music in my headphones to drown out the sounds. I even had to wear the headphones during almost all my college classes, I need to wear them to sleep sometimes (it's not comfortable) but it's needed. I had tests done and apparently (I can't remember exact numbers) the average person found noises above 100dB to be the cut off point where they say they can't deal with it, my one ears limit is 40dB and the second is 50dB so yeah it sucks, I can't go out without my headphones or I suffer panic attacks >.>

4. A super old game not many people even know, Might and Magic IV(6): The Mandate of Heaven. It came out in 1998, and I still have the original CD, and it still works! It's covered in scratches but still plays it's nuts. The game has been re-released a few times, never being hugely well known though. I have found memories of playing this game with my mother as a child, I would control the A button to shoot and she did everything else, we logged probably a few hundred hours on this game

5. Last but not least, is the ashes from my cat. Feel free to not read this is pet death upsets you
I adopted a cat from a rescue place, she was the most sweetest cat I've ever met. She ended up becoming my best friend and my rock, the reason I got up in the mornings. When I would go out to college and come back she would be meowing like crazy to greet me, pawing at my leg until I picked her up and she would nuzzle and cuddle in, she slept on my bed every single night, even the night I first brought her home she curled up with me. One day I could tell something was wrong, I took her to the vets and tests later it was discovered she had kidney disease, the vets recommended I put her down the next day. It was too soon for me so I found alternative medicine and she lived for another few months, really happily lived as well I have videos of her bouncing about playing with toys. Eventually I knew her time had come though, so now I have her ashes in the urn in my room. Before she was put to sleep I got prints of her paw pads, I had them tattooed onto me and some of her ashes were mixed into the tattoo ink. So now she's always with me no matter what...

I would post a pic of the tattoo which is on my wrist, I'm not sure if that's allowed though >w<

Sorry if this was boring if anyone even read all that... :?
