(was this an excuse to show off all my little lions? yes.)
in the biggest prides around, the parents can't keep track of their little cubs, so they drop them off at the woodland weather nursery when times are tough enough. the younger lions, whether related to the cubs or even having siblings, must take care of them, which can lead to some.. exasperation. but the parents still find time to watch and chat before they leave. if no parents are in sight at all for a cub? they are given a plush substitute and told to deal.
