Ive played this game since fall of 07, and that's the year it came out. Id prefer you join hi1(horseisle1) over hi2. Even though there are technically 3 versions of the game, the original is much friendlier, and easier out of the 3.
Over 100 real breeds, including pets and tack you can buy and put on the horse, its all ' realistic' with a touch of fantasy. Yet all things equine -colds, height,etc.- are realistic. Yet, you can rent a uni or Pegasus for a fee and after you have 75% quests done.
Its a simple game, but yet alot to do. Quest, play mini games, gather stuff, even catch horses! You can jump, dressage,race and draft against other players. Tack training and pets help.There's also barrel racing, orb finding, trail riding mini games. No cars, all horses! When you enter in compel, and if you win you and the horse get experience. The more exp the horse has, the more valuable, and if its trained all the way.
Hi1 and the hi2 eternal you cannot breed. Yet, they have just made news of a new hi, hi2lifecycle. But, to breed you have to subscribe. None of the games require a subscribtion, but do limit just a tiny bit. Without one, you can only have 5 horses, cant draw in art rooms or have a ranch. The sub is only 5$ per mo or 45 per year. Us currencty is only accepted, the game makers are based.in us. But, you can buy subs from other players, but make sure they are subscribed too, and have past buyers. I adore horse Isle! I find Esrohs easier to comprehend, more in depth, higher played base, and much, much easier to catch wilds on. Plus, on life cycle you can breed horses!!!NXD

Ive actually found alot of people to find hi2 hard to navigate with quests and lag. But life cycle you have to be a sub.
The point of this was to get players on hi1, where the players are needed.
