Scientists have discovered a scientifically-magical world inhabited by avian felines that never die.
You are a scientist hired for a breeding project, in this world called Felisfire. You have received six cryogentically frozen eggs to start your new colony. Explore the Felisfire world as your colony grows, collecting animals, plants, and artifact samples from the regions.
Will your colony flourish and grant you the title of Master Breeder?

There are currently seven species on Felisfire, with more on the way! The current species are Felidae, Aquus, Zerda, Chetae, Igneo, Iuridon, and Xano (in order of most common to rarest). The last cat pictured below (known as the "Faecat" or "Buttercat") is coming soon! There are currently 44 markings you can design your cats with, and most are natural and based off of cats in the real world! Some markings include: Bobcat, Caracal, Dalmatian, Leopard, Okapi, Panda, Serval, Tabby, and Zebra! Besides the egg markings you can pick when designing your customs, there are also things called DNA Patches. DNA Patches add another marking to your cat! Some DNA Patch markings include: Anubis, Ball Python, Hawk's Wing, Rings, Skeleton, and Warpaint! Unlike on other sites like Wajas, customs on Felisfire are easy to earn with some determination! And, to make things even better, upon registering you receive six free custom eggs of the Felidae species to help get you started!

Since Felisfire is a breeding sim, that's the main point of the game! When cat are made via eggs as customs, they are one day old. When cats are born, they're zero days old. At age zero, the felis are considered babies. At age one, felis are considered adolescents. At six days old, they become adults and are able to breed! At 66 days, felis become Elders and can no longer breed without the help of an expensive item that causes them to revert to adulthood again. Unlike on other websites where breeding is 100% controlled by you, breeding on Felisfire is much more random. When felis are unfrozen and in your nest or a clan, they interact with each other randomly every few minutes while you're logged in and every few hours when you're logged out. So the more you're online, the more your cats breed! Once your cats hit an affection rating of 95-100 (Love) with each other and are at least six days old, there's a 25% chance of them breeding every time they interact.

Genetics play a role in breeding on Felisfire, making it much more realistic and interesting than other sims! There is no way to predict what your cats' babies will look like, and until you have a high enough breeding score to do ultrasounds, they'll end up a surprise! A baby's base color can be anywhere in range between its parents, and marking colors act similarly but mix randomly. Inherited markings can either be shown, carried, or not present in the baby's DNA at all. Shown markings are visible on the baby's image while carried markings are only in its DNA. If parents of different species (or even just with different recessive genes) breed, their child's species depends on dominant and recessive genes carried by its parents!

Obviously, Felisfire is quite the science-y site! To add on to that, you have an area called a Cryo Chamber. Felis that you don't want to be breeding or otherwise need active can be frozen, and they go into your Cryo Chamber. Frozen feli will not age, however they will loose all of their past interactions and affection levels with other feli. Sick and injured felis, as well as expecting mothers, cannot be frozen. If you wish to send a feli to another user, it must be frozen first.

As you'll probably notice upon joining, your Cryo Chamber is small and there's a thing called "B Score" on your sidebar. "B Score" and "crap" are other ways of saying "Breeding Score". Whenever one of your felis has a baby, you get another point added to your crap and five new spaces in your Cryo Chamber. Not only can increasing your crap allow you to make more valuable potions (0-25 crap), such as the Love Potion which makes two felis fall in love instantly, but it also unlocks cool features! At 5 crap, you unlock the Ultrasound. The Ultrasound tells you what gender, markings, colors, species, and ID a baby will have. It will also tell you how many babies your feli is having, from a single birth to triplets. At 50 crap, you will unlock both the Gencode Library and the Lab Zapper. The Gencode Library allows you to extract DNA from frozen cats and insert the DNA into babies, thus altering their appearance! You can trade DNA with other users and cannot extract DNA from non-frozen cats. The Lab Zapper is a tool that allows you to zap one frozen cat a day, and can change anything about the cat! At 75 crap you unlock In Vitro, which allows you to make felis have babies when they otherwise couldn't (elders, for example). From 25-100 crap, you unlock different things at the Lab Changer. They include changing an engineered egg's gender (25 crap), changing an engineered egg's species (50 crap), changing a baby's gender (75 crap), and changing a baby's species (100 crap).

Complete tasks for site NPCs to earn money! You can craft items for Kyber, do accounting for Zeke, and fetch items for Alonya! Doing all the tasks every day can help you to get a good start in the world of Felisfire and be able to afford all the pretty kitties your heart desires! These site NPCs give out Energy (also known as "EN"), which is the site's main currency. The other site currency, Orbs, is mainly acquired by donating to the site. You can also buy Orbs from other users and win them in contests! Using both EN and Orbs, you can buy different eggs of all species but the Xano. You can also upgrade your account to premium and buy accessories for your cats with Orbs.

In order to get an elusive and very expensive Xano egg for yourself, you'll either have to shell out quite a bit to buy one from another user or complete your Collection. There's a feature called Gathering, in which your active feli explores an area of your choice. They can find items, befriend a minipet, or even run into a wild feli! When you encounter a wild feli you have a small chance of either catching them! If your active feli is a female, there's even a chance they could have a baby with a wild feli. After you successfully obtain every collection item and complete it, you will be rewarded with a Xano egg!
