Yes some people do go on IMVU to "do bad things" but many go on there just to make friends and have friendly roleplays...
I usually just dress my avi up and go to different rooms. xD

Isn't IMVU a bad site? :s I see their ads all the time, and they don't look kid friendly. One of my neighbor friends set up an account and her mother was very angry. Apparently the main use of that site is to uh... do inappropriate things. Dx

That is a lie, im not even close to that..
There is inappropriate things on the site, but only if you have a user at 18+ and have AP..

There is bad rumors about the site, but when you have been there long enough, there is nothing of that.
Only if you decide to lie about your age. You will be meeting ppl that wants a relationship, but aren't pushed to say okay, you can leave

I agree with your there , I'ts mainly just some of the people that make it inappropriate.

I am XxserenitywolfxX on IMVU [Omg I really wanna change that name. Ffffuuhhh].
I am a little shy around new people, but I am random fun and crazy when I get going. XD
I've been on for a long time, since around early '10 I believe.
I've made many awesome friends and even dated through it...but many of them quit or disappeared without contact which is why I have slight trust issues with making friends on there.
But I'm trying to get back into it. c:

IMVU does not give viruses - It is constantly monitored by the system and has strong protection.
You must have downloaded something else that wasn't directly related to IMVU, or maybe an undetected virus in your computer just reacted when your it opened the files to save IMVU's data.
