Anyone playin DragCave?

My black marrows refuse each other but i can try to breed them with another dragon, hoping for a marrow. My red dorsal tends to be a little temperamental in breeding red dorsals but if it produced another purple, would you be okay with that?

Black Marrows are like Christmas dragons. They can only be bred to produce other Marrows when the Halloween dragons are out. Otherwise, any union between them and another species will produce and egg of the other parent's kind if the breeding is successful.

Marrows are rare seasonals, so you can't just breed them like that. ^^; Believe me, I learned the hard way. Now I just use my Marrows for breeding projects since they are CB, and at Halloween, I'm going to try to get more Marrow eggs if possible.

EDIT: As for Dorsals, Purple is the standard, and Red is a much more uncommon alt version of the Dorsals, not really a standard for the species. So they aren't 100% certain for breeding either.

I had forgotten about the marrows.

And reds aren't an Alt. They're just another color that's a little harder to get. Almost like the nebulas and striped dragons.

@Wish- alt was the best term I could think of- they certainly aren't the 'common' outcome, but you're right- they are less rare than alts.

@ Bast- Do you want the link ot the Dragon Cave Wiki? Honestly, it's the most helpful breed guide I've ever seen. It tells you which dragons are what, if they have special abilities, thier rarity, how to breed them, and a bunch more of information that comes in handy. Check it out here if you are interested in it. ^^

Also, I'm unlocked right now. If you want, and if it is okay wish Wish and you, I could breed you Shallows or anything else right now, since I have 2 open egg slots. ^^
