Am I the only one that thinks the update IS WAY TO HYPED?

I've played aj since the end of 2012. Been a bit. Let me tell you, it was way better back then. I mean sure, nms get a new den. But it's not even cool. It's the same den with some leaves and a alt colored roof. No thing that cool.

And Nms already had free chat. It's just that aj was greedy and took it away then gave it back again. For some reason AJHQ also has really bad service? They never respond to my emails.

I think the reason it's so hyped is because nonmembers have been pretty much neglected in every single other update this year so far. The only other time they actually got something was when the pet dodos came out, but that's it. There was also that update that made all adventures, save for the eagle adventure, for everyone, but I don't remember if that was this year or last year.
But really, in every other update, nonmembers are an afterthought at best. In this update, practically everything was intended for nonmembers, which is a really cool thing, considering AJ's track record.
I do agree that some people have been hyping it a bit too much (mostly AJ Tubers, but I mean it's kind of part of their job), but I do still think it deserves some of that hype because it's such a big shift in what AJHQ usually does.

honestly i don't think ajhq gets enough credit for what they do for nonmembers. obviously there's going to be big exclusions, because if there werent, nobody would buy memberships. but they are incredibly fair to nms, in my opinion, especially in comparison to other games.

you can trade, now they've given free chat back, you can have several dens, you can make masterpieces of you trade for the tokens, you can play all but one of the adventures, you can play all of the games, and so much more. ive been nonmember for the past several years and honestly it hardly makes a difference to me.

yes, the updates were better in 2012, i was there, but that was because the game was new and therefore had many options, so they could produce more original content. im not in any way saying that they can't produce original content now, they're just trying to milk all the money they can from their old content because they don't have to come up with new ideas. but in the end it's a game, and clearly people are willing to spend money on that, and they only really care about making money. it's a business.

and when people say, "wow the game was so much better in 2012," it's true, but at the same time you're probably making it out to be greater than it actually was because you were younger and most likely more easily entertained. they had way less features in the game and if you went back, you'd probably get bored relatively easily.

anyways that's just my thoughts, feel free to disagree. id love to see your opinions!!
