Yeah, it truly is Spinel, but believe me, my last concern is if i spelled one from 100 made-up breed names right

And edit: I reviewed Spinel's wikia page and indeed ''The green alternate form is only obtainable through breeding with an Earth Element dragon'', but what I missed on is that Spinel breed is Earth afiliated so this means that purple Spinel+purple Spinel can result in a green one, which, if you ask me, kind of makes the whole ''only Earth dragons'' feature/specification kind of useless, because as long as one of the parents is Spinel (which is mandatory to produce another Spinel lol) you may end up with a green one no matter what is the other parent, just like all the other alts

Spinel x Spinel only ever makes green ones, in my experience

Also I think you might be a bit wrong about that last bit, Camilla, as no greens can result from a Spinel x non-Earth pairing. If there’s only one Spinel in the pairing (Spinel x non-Spinel), then the colour of the egg depends solely on the non-Spinel parent. The Spinel’s alignment only plays a role in Spinel x Spinel pairings and makes it so purebred eggs are always green, if that makes sense! :)

Edit: As well, I wouldn’t really call it an ‘alt’ so much as a variant. Unlike blacks and dark greens and dorsals and the like, there is no random element to breeding green spinels, and as far as my knowledge goes all Caveborn spinels are the red/purple ones

Edit again: actually I have no clue if anything I said is true because I just found a Spinel bred from two spinels in one of my Spinel’s lineages that was red/purple anyway? So basically I don’t know anything anymore XD

@blupcretia, if I' ve seen your comment early, I would argue early jkd
you can get either green or red spinel from a spinelxspinel pairing. It's random. You can also get red from green pairings, happened to me before. And even pairing with another earth dragon don't guarantee a green one, it's also random. And this is also why I don't understand why people are considering them more common than any other alt...it's just as random....

What is the exact range you need to hatch the siyat to get a green one in? I’ve been getting allot of mixed messages one person said it needs to be within the day it was stolen another saying it’s ok to let it hatch naturally as long as it’s as soon as possible. I don’t have a red dragon so I can’t incubate, help?

A user on the dragon cave forums created this chart:

A Siyat's color depends on their natural time left when hatched. If you incubated, add a day to the egg's timer to find the window they are in.
7d 0h - 4d 1h: green (this means you must incubate, earthquake, or try to force with kill for green)
4d 0h - 2d 1h: blue
2d 0h - 0d 0h: purple

So it looks like you will need to get a red dragon, sorry about that! I could breed you one if you are struggling to find one :)

AHHHH I GOT ITTT !!



WOOOOO, ah well maybe no one cares but i'll share what i did so hopefully it can help others. ^^

first i waited long enough without any views/clicks to prevent it from getting sick, then i put it on like 6 click sites at once , at 4 days 5 hours it was really close to hatching, i incubated with a red and it hatched immediately.
