It will grown into an alt adult. It has a completely different set of lines for the male and female alt adults.

You can look at any dragon on the dragon cave wiki. Here is a link to the black dragon. If you go under “sprites” you can see all the outcomes.

Incorrect actually. There are Alt adult forms as well.
