Terrestrial Squid Adoptables

Yup, I opened an adoptable site, and yup, I'm preparing for the inevitable catastrophy that's sure to follow. XP

I call it Terrestrial Squid Adoptables, and it deals with the stranger members of the animal kingdom. We already have platypi and octopi pages up, and one platypus egg ready. ^^ And yup, it accepts customs / suggestions. Wewt.

Apparently, Terrestrial Squid is an adoptable site. xD If you don't know what an adoptable is, go shoot yourself in the foot! Just kidding. Adoptables, if you didn't know, are little images with codes posted that you can put in your signature, on your webpage, et cetera.

As you may notice, Terrestrial Squid does not put up normal stuff like dogs, cats, fish, carnivorous gummies that want to bite your head off, the like for adoption. Nope, for this one I'll be doing the stranger ones.. some ideas I have in mind are platypi, prehistoric critters maybe, probably some stranger birds, stranger fish, etc.

Now for the mindblowing news.. Terrestrial Squid is not yet open. XP Didn't see that comin', did'ja? I'll be using a tutorial that Tess, the awesome owner of another adoptable site (Chicken Smoothie), made.

This website will be using a system that a lot of adoptable sites use. I'll be releasing new eggs/babies/you get the idea at the beginning of every month, and taking away the ones from last month, who will then be moved to the archive (which hasn't been created yet, since it's still the first month).

Since you're going for the stranger animals, what about the only other mammal that lays eggs besides that platypus? The echidnas are pretty strange, afterall..

XD Yeah, I think I'll try those after colossal squids. Echidnas, I think, will be.. interesting to draw. XP

Yep, they are so cute. I'd like one as a pet. Hehe.
(Then again, I like the skunks outside and took care of a bunch of baby possums a while back, so they seem to think they are cats. )

So would I.. looks like it's not suitable for a pet, though. But I suppose that if a very snappish vampire dragon is suitable for a pet, a marbled polecat is suitable for a pet. XD

I agree. I think almost everything's cute. I mean, I think DUMBO OCTOPI are cute. *huggles picture of a dumbo octopus*
