I had heard that beta blankets are worth somewhere between 6 and 8 black longs, but I don't know for certain.
As for headdresses, here's a list:
RIM Headdress - Two good longs to a black long
Dark Pink Headdress - 4 black longs
Tan Headdress - 5-6 black longs
Orange Headdress - 6-7 black longs
Magenta Headdress - 8 black longs
Green and White Headdress - 9-10 black longs
Green and Black Headdress - 11-12 black longs
Blue Headdress - 14-15 black longs
Light Pink Headdress - (supposedly) 20 black longs
