Why should privileges be taken away from members?
It's not really progress for the game.
Rather give more to non-members, although as they are not paying, they can't have it all.
And in my opinion, Animal jam is basically a pay-to-win game.
Free accounts are like a 'trial' to give you a taste of what the game is.
They have already been given so much,
yet many non-members still complain and do not understand that members are paying real money for the things they are receiving in-game.
What if Animal jam was a game that you would need to purchase a disc or code to play in the first place?
Nobody would be complaining that the creators aren't giving out discs/codes for free.
Not all privileges should be taken from members. It is important for you to understand that
members have been given LOADS compared to non-members. I've been member, for I believe
three years, and when I became non-member due to not having enough money for the game
(I had some family problems, resulting in someone having surgery), I was gobsmacked at the
change.
Animal Jam currently has no competitors. Moshi Monsters has a lower-aged aim, for people
from the age of 2+, whilst Animal jam is still getting teenagers to come around and give it a
shot, like myself.
You said non-members can't have it all. It's been clear to me over the few years that Animal Jam
spoils there members rotten, whilst giving little to the non-members. My vision of this is like the
segregation years ago. One type of person/player is treated with more respect, whilst the other
type of person/player is completely disrespected.
I'm quite strong on the subject, mainly because I've started to get more into AJ again, and have
been bombarded with Jam-a-grams claiming I'm a scammer due to being non-member whilst rare
at the same time.
The thing is, members think that they are naturally rarer, better, and more popular due to there
membership (e.g: a main thing I see when I log on is "NEED MEMBER GIRL!" "ADOPTING MEMBER
KIDS" "MEMBER PARTY MY DEN-- MEMBERS ONLY!!"). Non-members completely understand the
concept on where members pay money for more access within the game.
I think the main things in Non-member history has been the non-member pig, the colour change
option, and the fact we can have a bee/hamster(kangaroo if paid real money) as a pet. We haven't
been given enough, compared to the members.

I gained rarity whilst a non-member, was member for a few years, yet never had the idea of rares.
I was naturally 'rare' as I was in the beta, and had stocked on items, because even in real life I am
quite a hoarder. I was hacked/scammed multiple times, yet never seemed to beg like members/nms
did when they were hacked.
I've met loads of Non-members who do not want membership/had membership to/and have became
rare from it. Animal jam is a goals-based game, even without rares (e.g: The animal jam journal
book).
Besides, think if there was no members. Would AJ go back to being 'beta'? It isn't sad, honestly. Your
view on the game is sad, because as of what I read, your only really in it for the rares, popularity and
status.
