The shimmerscale has all of the shimmerscales in its lineage being female, and the males all being caveborn golden wyverns. This creates a 'staircase' pattern in the lineage. My hatchling happened to be male, and so if it bred with any CB dragons, or any dragons for that matter, the 'staircase' lineage of the offspring would go down instead of up.
The Celestial dragon has the beginning of a staircase in its lineage, with the CB parent being a spriter's alt celestial. Since I'm not the spriter of the dragon, I can't get a spriter's alt as those are only limited to the spriter's scroll. If the hatchling happened to be male, I could possibly continue the staircase with different CB dragons, but it's female.
The dorsal dragon just isn't red(alt) so I doesn't really match its entire lineage...
