> The World of Pandora
| The basics of Pandora are easy to follow; instead of funding NASA like we did and rebuilding the space program after the fall of the earth, they selected to begin on a teleportation and parallel universe machine. while most of the parallel traveling devices were denied from ever reaching the public, simple control pads and basic models of teleporting were in fact approved, allowing citizens to go to their favorite location at the press of a button with this technology. However, rumors of far more expansive but secretive teleportals have been supposedly built by PUP, giving access to areas never before seen by society of today.
| Similar to that of our world, Pandora has a middle, upper and lower class divisions depending on occupation. Upper class includes the mechanics, engineers, government agents, PUP security officers. While middle class falls to the network security/hackers, barista, restaurant manager, bio mechanics & information broker. The lower class jobs are limited and don't provide much as the rest, you could choose to not pick a profession, become an apprentice to an upper class, work as an escort or exotic dancer or form a gang.
Gangs are lately on the rise in Pandora, speaking of anarchy and anonymous takeover both in the virtual world and out.
| Pandora is heavily technology reliant, proving to have no way to function without the advanced AIs serving at their whim. While most AIs are not sentient, some may get a permission slip from the owners to be fully aware and alive just as much as the next human. Most of these AIs even appear human at first glance while others lean towards a hard, steel shell without a true face. Most of them heavily serve a purpose, and to prevent any misshapen with these models, they are only programmed to work and follow as such.
|While they have long since abandoned Cipher-6, the pop culture of Pandora still closely follows behind the ancestors of yesterday in what they wear and present as. All shops in Pandora include a 'vintage' section, artifacts reproduced or sold from what they were found. Most of these legitimate objects are family heirlooms, lost to time and being sold for a cheap buck.
> Virtual Reality
Not only has PUP contributed to the modern adult world, but also to the world of gaming. The new age in Pandora includes being literally put into a game selected from a handheld device. Most are your basic MMOs, while others are simple life simulators for long friends to catch up and talk. By far the most hyped over is known as Ecol W. Those who are lucky enough to afford one of these devices all flock to this game due to the high quality and server stability it holds.
Ecol W, short for Ecolenta World is a free landscape or otherwise known as open world to the gamer community, giving those want to glitch out of map and see it in first person quite a thrill. There isn't really a true plot in a game, only a basic levelling system and stereotypical 'chosen one' for the player. Monsters may vary depending on the server, ranging from giant slugs, spiders and insect invasion general or grotesque parasitic alien like creatures. The scenery itself takes place in the outskirts of 'Ecolenta' which is the fictional city in game to which you as the hero is made to protect. To the north is the burnt field, where the war on these creatures is raging heavily at all times. And to the west is the typical player hang out spot, complete with a housing system and relaxation from the rest of the chaos in the MMO.
There are only three areas as of recently in Ecol W. but the developer has stated he 'plans to add more in the near future' due to popularity.
Most however seem to abuse Ecol W. as a distraction or get away from the truth of the situation they are in today; Humanity is on its last leg from the previous generations failures. |

|The Gang Serpent is by far the most popular and aggressive, its one purpose is to completely flip the PUP control around, giving the power of the government back to the people.
|Neon blue is the national color, the town hall proudly sports so.
|Every building is ivory white and built in with a sleek modern design. turning any apartment into a functional office space, seating arrangement and king sized bed at the press of a button with the newly built 'It & More' wall.
|Just like on Earth, the coffee shops here are insanely overpriced and charge 10.00 Iternea here, which is equivalent to ten earth dollars.
|Being employed at places like Mcdonalds or something similar is not possible in Pandora, robots have long since replaced the faulty humans at these jobs. You can however, manage one.
|Pandora does not follow by any religion.
