Isles of Eventide is an MMO work in progress allowing the player to create, customize, and play as a canine, feline, or equine animal. Within a vast archipelago, the player faces the challenges of discovering secrets embedded throughout each island. Featuring unique weather cycles, prey to hunt, skills that vary between species, private islands, companions, chatting, predators, items, crafting, building, armor, runestones, magic, and so much more, Isles of Eventide is not just any common boring exploration game. Isles of Eventide is so much more, and with the help of anyone, it can become a reality after over a year in the making.

Isles of Eventide's archipelago is made up of varying islands, each with their own climate, weather pattern, and prey to rely on. Some animals, such as felines, thrive in scorching temperatures, while others, such as canines, prefer the extreme cold. Unique predators throughout islands should be avoided at all costs, although players can also befriend allies. Numerous types of foliage make their roots in all types of soil, where prey and predators alike seek shelter.

IoE offers three (possibly four, with extra donations) different types of playable species which live in harmony with each other. Creating a character shows no boundaries in IoE, and markings and anatomy are able to be toggled during character creation. Unlimited possibilities await you in the artistic freedom of IoE's character creation panel. Here is one example of a wolf created with IoE's character creation.

Like most MMOs, the player must be faced with needs to constantly fulfill such as health, hunger, and thirst. However, IoE is not within the category of "most mmos" for many reasons. It is crucial to the player that their character receives the proper amount of food and water while keeping an eye on their health and stamina. The player also may find various runestones throughout the world of IoE. These runestones add a new dimension to IoE, introducing magic to the game. These runestones hide secrets and provide new ways for the player to travel and learn from in new ways.

Isles of Eventide provides a new realm of customizing and creativity. Along with the multiple folds of character creation, IoE also will contain new levels of customizing. The player will be able to have their own private island where they can build, dig, craft, plant, and invite friends over to. There are many possibilities within a player's private island, such as growing a garden or creating a fish pond. Natural items can be crafted into armor, healing medicines, and decorative items such as antlers. Magic can also be embedded within these items. Companions are a lovely and welcoming addition to Isles of Eventide, which can hunt, forage, fight in battle, be customized alike with the player, and aid the player in many different ways. Aquatic companions will also be added to aid the player in crossing the ocean to other isles.

Isles of Eventide will be free to play, but in order to officially create the game there must be money involved as well. In order to fully develop IoE into the wonderfully complex game it can be, people must support it and donate to it. Okay, I'm not going to sugarcoat it - the pledged goal of IoE's Kickstarter is $50,000 in CAD (41,773.80 US Dollars or 27,589.92 Pound Sterlings). You are probably asking me "Why does it cost so much? Do we really need to donate that much?" and the answer is that IoE is being made totally from scratch. That means hiring developers, artists, coders, story writers, etc. etc. etc., and that can become very costly to a high degree. IoE will have smooth animation graphics and is not a simple moneygrab. In fact, IoE is not created towards making money. As a sequel to Sanctum of Eventide, it does not include and elements from Impressive Title, which is the game Sanctum of Eventide was made off of. With so many players, Isles of Eventide requires an expensive server to run on to handle every action performed. All of the $50,00 CAD will be used for the funding of Isles of Eventide, and if the Kickstarter does not meet its goal by February 8th, all money will be refunded to its backers. If IoE does not meet its goal, it will still be worked on, but will likely not become an official game for years if it does. IoE will receive $50,000 CAD if it reaches its goal, or none at all if it doesn't reach its goal. Keep in mind that Isles of Eventide will have intricate designs and graphics, a small amount of bugs, and hundreds of players. This is why Isles of Eventide must meet its goal of $50,000 CAD by February 8th or it will not be made for years if it is made at all. But that's not all. If IoE reaches $75,000 CAD, there will be improvements to the vast underwater world within IoE, such as new creatures, gills for characters, and more underwater environments, items, and quests. If IoE meets $100,000 CAD, a very interesting aspect of the game will be added - the ability to have a MATE and OFFSPRING to raise! This will also be beneficial to the player and will reward them. If IoE reaches $150,000 CAD, players will be allowed to play as a bird in-game. At $200,000 CAD raised, IoE will add a new island to the archipelago, with a new one every $50,000 CAD received. And your donation benefits you, too! Benefits such as special in-game items, reserved in-game usernames, and company support are included with different amounts of money pledged. We can make Isles of Eventide a possibly if we reach $50,000 CAD, and remember that every little bit helps! With only 20 days to go, IoE needs help more than ever. Even if you cannot donate, IoE will appreciate your support by joining their forums, spreading the word, or participating in the game if it is released. I do not own Isles of Eventide or any images posted here. All information and images belong to Isles of Eventide and are found on https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/10 ... escription. I am not a part of BloodStreamStudios and am just trying to make Isles of Eventide a reality by spreading the word. I will take down anything on here if needed.
