Wolf Play is a SIM/Roleplay game. When you first join you get to design you alpha female and male. After that I would recommend to read the game guide. It's has almost any answer to any question that you might ask about the game, and it saves you from getting in trouble. You get to build up your wolves so they can go exploring and there's even PVP ( pack v. pack). There are also leaderboards. There are also perks such as being in a faction.
