Now, onto the topic. I'm sure most gamers have thought of making their own game; improving a game they love or making their own version of it. Well In the process of learning to make my own game I've taken a smaller step and I am making a game within another game!
So why are you telling us this? We don't wanna hear your bragging -.-
That's just the thing, I'm not bragging I'm putting the word out there to other users with the same Idea, no this isn't Minecraft, this is FeralHeart I'm talking about people.
Well that game's gone down the crapper, seriously; they've removed general chat, how's anything supposed to get done?! There's TONS of trolls and RUDE Rpers.
Well I'm no admin or mod, I have those issues same as you do; at least you can rant about them on the forums and find other individuals that share your pain; build roleplays around and with those that have shared your experience. But think, if we could get out of the default maps and escape into our own private maps (like the gifted ones of us do anyway!) then wouldn't that lessen some of the problems?
Alright, I'm listening, what are you getting at exactly...
The same thing I've been saying since the beginning; a game inside of a game. I'm not talking about FeralHeart+ either, I'm speaking of a MEGA map pack for users of FeralHeart to download and escape too. It would be filled with fantastically large lands perfect for RPs, hanging out, and sharing within a more "mature" community away from the users that, to put it simply, boil your water. I'm speaking about my project FeralWorlds; a Mega map pack that I began working on as a high school Senior project.
Sounds pretty cool I guess, so where's the download?
Heh, well...it's still not quite finished yet. You see some of the maps are very large and there are so many of them that well, it's a bit much for one person to handle on their own...and so...I'm kinda looking for help. Those of the community that are experienced in map making even if it's just throwing heightmaps and masks together to build a simple terrain. I want those users interested in making one, or more maps for this map pack, and I'll tell you exactly how you do it as well!

Alright, what I need is a list of users who are willing to put time into this project; after all these maps are gonna be open to the whole of the community in FeralHeart (it's typically the trolls and rude/childish RPers/users that don't bother with downloading anything) I'm also gonna speak with some of the admins about what to do about trolls who slip through (Though remember, blocking the user is the best first defense). When you've completed your map (whether it's a full map or just a heightmap for others in the project to use) PM me (Freaksho on CS) or E-mail me (my e-mail will be given to those who join the project) with the FILES/FILE FOLDERS so I can edit everything together. (All maps recieved should NOT have a portal on them UNLESS there is a SPECIFIC point to spawn at- please notify me of this!)
EX: Crpyt made a FULL map (objects, water, the whole 9yds) She would send me the FOLDER found in (FeralHeart>Media>Terrains) with everything for the map inside (this includes the heightmap). I would E-mail/PM her back notifying her I received all the files I needed (or if there was something missing that I needed) and begin to add it to the map pack with a portal.
Complicated...but ok, I guess I could give it a shot...maybe; really as long as I receive credit for my work put in!
Absolutely! I will be keeping a list of those who contribute to the project, and what they contributed. I'm not out to rob people blind, Geezus! :3
