Team Rocket obtained the data and power behind Pokémon evolution. Pokémon professors and trainers alike were unsure what would happen now that they harnessed this power, until they got a rude awakening. Mutated Pokémon began to mingle with the pure in the wild, changing the shape of many one-innocent creatures. With their hearts in chaos Team Rocket could control them; and one-by-one cities and monuments across the regions were destroyed.
The Pokémon professors went into hiding, fearing their information would be stolen and used to further harm these Pokémon. Suddenly, connection to all three was lost and they felt a need for a new Professor. Now with one Global professor, Elite teams of Pokémon masters, and the determination of thousands of trainers they set out to make things right again.
