I have a question, what about coats? Like when you breed a certain pair of dogs or cats, is it a mix of both the mother and father, or just a coat of that breed of dog/cat?

Thanks for all of the commentary guys To answer your questions:

Yes, the site will feature an advanced genetics program, coats may be the same of a parent but usually it will be a mix of both

Also, I have decided to release special species regurarly, so yes there will be some made up species and animals. The user can also do odd breeding patterns (such as a dog with a cat) which will generate different species. This might not be in the first release though sorry

The site is coming along well, sorry I haven't written much lately!

I think I will be conducting some polls to see what people think about starter breeds for the site, if you guys have any ideas post them so I can include them in the poll

I'm excited to post the official release date soon!
