Born of four basic elements.
And kept alive by two key elements.
Fire to boil it into life and enrichen the soil, so that Earth can grow her plants and feed her children. Wind, to carry the word from one corner of the world to the other, and to keep birds in the air. And Water to sustain the Earth and put out the angry flames when he becomes to uncontrollable.
Then came Light and her sister Darkness. Light being the presence and Darkness being the lacking. Light gave the animals warmth, whild darkness gave them rest. And so came to be the four basics and the two keys.
They are forced to work together and yet, when the ancient fued of territory had come across them with a beautifully large river, the elements became even more angry with each other. They bragged to each other of which pack was the best, and which element as well. Wind favored the Twilight Moon clan for their swiftness and grace and hated Fire whom favored the short-tempered brutes of the Crimson Water clan. Water whom favored the Stars of Ice clan for their 'immunity' to the rivers wrath hated Earth whom favored the calm and kind wolves of the Star Valley clan.
Forever and ever this hatred with the elements will live on, despite their duties to work together to keep life...They will always have their fights about their territories.
